Jurgen just emailed me the starting list... I really love the Oyster Cove track, best one of the year.

Stringing myself up in a wardrobe Carradine stylez as we speak.

Good luck to all, hope you have a dry one.

Does anyone know if this track uses cones on the skid pans (e.g as you cross from one pan to the next would there be cones that you need to go through) or free to pick our own line?

Start order attached...

Great event to finish the series. I think that's my favourite course as it uses both skidpans and flows quite well.

Runs improved by a second each run, but I was still a fair few seconds behind the pace. My tyres are pretty much wrecked and going well past wear indicators now.
I think a new set will see me back into some decent times.

On the hotter days, my car is having some sort of surge or safety cutout issue. Last time I got it checked, it was intake temps, causing a cut in timing and revs.
Starting to think I am revving it too high - and that I should be using my midrange more, considering my setup is VF34 and TMIC?

Here is my 2nd and 3rd run. 4th run was quickest, but I forgot to turn the camera on.

Run 2 - YouTube

Run 3 - YouTube

Going to try and visit All Star and STechnic before xmas to see if I can narrow down any areas of opportunity.
Suspension needs some rear adjustable top hats and some tweaking with new race rubber.

Nice lapping!

Try a auto waterspray with a hobbs pressure switch instead of manually pressing

Could be fuel surge? Noticed you get it when coming out of a decent bend where the fuel would be pushing to one side of the tank.

Looks like you hit 9k rpm with that mis shift too!?

Cheers Rich.
Yes, I plan to hook up the waterspray properly with the Vipec, but I couldn't figure it out by myself so have just swapped the plug off the windscreen washer pump until it's set to go off automatically.

I'm hoping I can get a laptop in the car for a private event and do some logging so I can show Sean - unless it already shows in the max recorded temp warnings etc.

There have been a few occasions where the car has revved crazy, usually on acceleration (boost spike?), but that run I hit the wrong gear and shifted down....6 speed seems to have put up with it for now lol

Nice driving Jezza, like the line into the hairpin

I got bad fuel surge in my old GC8 around RAC, pretty sure GOC runs a surge tank, I do in the EVO.
