Hey David,
As some one has already mentioned, removing the catalytic converter from any post 1984 car will expose you to huge fines if you are caught. While the fine is indeed $10,000 what alot of people might not know is that you need to be caught and charged by the EPA under the EPA legislation, NOT the the Police and the Road Traffic Act. They will simply defect your vehicle for non compliance. Cheers, |
