Also this car since i bought it has been running unusually quick for no mods so im guessing boost cut

Sounds very much like ignition cut from overboosting. Get a gauge and monitor it. Possibly have a bleed valve in there, or hoses are leaking to the wastegate.

fuel/boost cut definately...like i said the other day marc, whack a gauge on it and a bleed valve and it'll be sorted, guaranteed...

if it was afm it'd do it whenever your car sees anythin above around 5 psi, and in any gear...

theres 1 or 2 screws on the AFM which will let you remove the actual sensor unit.
Youll see the sensor, kinda like a bit of wire, spray the cleaner on this and the air will evaporate it all..
Clean it a couple times, let it dry then put it back in and try

just adding to this thread. Recently during the colder nights my car has been spiking to 1.6bar roughly hitting boost cut. Could a bleed valve help me fix this by lowering the boost level?

Thanks

John

bleed valves are crap mate, they will only increase your boost with a controlled leak, get it tuned
