got a new front 02 sensor today, same code to fit. same wires etc etc

started the car up, ran ecuExplorer & reset the ecu- now have 2 CEL (P0171 - was always there - and why i bought a new sensor) and now im getting P0031 - H025 heater circut low.

i under stand this is the circut to heat up the sensor until the headers warm up.

So WTF is going on? Funny thing is - I have no CEL light. its gone. Just HISTORIC trouble codes.

car seems to run heaps better and its lettin me rev past 5500rpm now. the advance multiplier is still low..

any ideas?
how do i clear them?

Dont bother with the head fuk take It to subaru or to a workshop...

historic means they are past problems but if there is not current cels which is above historic then they are cleared.

yeah just past problems/history i dono wat you are using to delete codes but if you can find someone with a carman scan or go to a workshop they will delete them. Dono how much that will cost though. I can get ahold of a carman scan but have never checked out a wrx like yours before on it so not 100% sure if it will do it but it should. pm me if you want me to give it a go

ecu explorer is good enough to clear reset past history CEL codes. I used to get knock sensor CEL every month or so, and when i looked up in the ecu explorer it was also sitting in the history section and not the current one. I believe current section only displays items that are currently causing dramas. I'd clear the code and check again in some time if it comes up.

In my case i replaced the knock sensor, reset the code and i never got CEL about it since
