Default Hid Kits

I am getting some hid head light kits in and though other people may be interested. only reason i put in this section is to get feedback from people if they want to reply.

i already have a set in my car and i love them very bright .

just tell me what globe style and colour temp u want.

approx $300 Each landed here.

I got the 4300k colour temp for my self as its white light and bright without that blue colour..
The power supply ballest for the lights are very high quality water proof and sealed. can be mounted in direct rain and be safe.
i have friend who have mounted these on 4 spot lights on there roof as well as bullbars.

im going to be ordering these again in the next couple weeks so if anyone wants some let me know and can do some orders.
from when i order them i get them here with in 6 days. very good transit.

What is involved in installing them... do u just plug them in onto the normal light plug at one end?

Yep sure can can get most colour temps I think.. I have seen they have 8000k so 8500 shouldnt be a problem.
but ill check tonight when i speak to them to confirm.

installation is easy its all plug and play. and then screw the ballest against the fire wall somewhere or where ever u like.

i have been loving mine make such a difference at night.

legal or not i dont know.. see i though the rule was ur not meant to have globes that go over a certain wattage. now these lights only run at 35watts which is less than your stock globe from subaru. really the two globes together 70watts is less than one stock globe. but they are much brighter.

all the lux cars have them from the factory so dont know how they can make them illegal.

if any one wants to see them in action feel free to check mine out.
i can show u how they connect and run.

yeah no worries.. they are basically compatible with any light. the plug that plugs into your light at the momment plugs stright into the wire comming from the ballest.
easy as. but yeah ill catch up with u this week if you like.

theyre illegal on vehicles not fitted with headlamp washers and auto levelling, essentially to make sure the beam doesnt scatter into oncoming traffic. But then again plenty of people retrofit them without either.

One thing with retrofitting hids into a non-projector assembly is essentially they tend to scatter a fair bit especially on the GC's. The GD's are much more receptive as the factory HIDS run a similar reflector housing but using only a 4300k temp.

Most installs are easy, some require drillin holes in your dust cap etc, be prepared however it can take a while especially if your not sure what your doing!

For anyone considering retrofittin them into an peanut eye I wouldnt go higher than 5000-6000 max as the lighting gain greatly diminishes after that. Yea the 8000 look awesome in blue but in reality they light up perhaps just 10-15% more than standard halogens.

Likewise as Nvrenuf, if anyone wants to see the setup im running on my 04 pm me and we can work a place and time out

Im running a BJ Union kit slightly different to the supervisions here. Will try and post some pics soon.

ill try get soem photos but very hard to photograh LOL.

my dust caps fit snug right back over the globe. globe just clicked into place
just like factory one. though other headlights are slightly different,

will also need to know what globe types are required with the colour temps.
