Im all for DIY's, HOWEVER, when it has to do with suspension settings. Leave it to the professionals. Afterall - its the handling and safety of your 20k+ car!
If you cant afford the 100 bux or so to do it now - dont do it.

Sounds like you're not 100% confident, but it is straight forward.
Before you loosen the hub bolts, mark the position of them, as one on each strut will be an eccentric bolt that sets your camber, you can install them in the same way and keep the alignment fairly close to original for the drive to suspension shop. Essential: - Safe stands. You'll be sitting in your wheel arches using some decent leverage to loosen things, so you don't want your car to crush your fingers/toes/spine (Obvious but no one has mentioned it yet.) - Alignment to get the most out of the dollars/effort spent. |
