Anyone know how much a complete ej255 with wiring etc would be worth?
JWS had some brand new EJ257's from the crash test cars for around $7k supply only. Dont know if they have any left though.

Getting high torque before the turbo boosts –
1. Put in a supercharger The sc could be bypassed when the turbo comes on. It has been done before but would not be cheap.
2. The Subie 3L motor as in the Liberty is not the obvious answer, it is not a torque monster low down.
3. One solution would be to speed up your gear changes, or better, always be in the correct gear, not as easy as it sounds.
4. In the B4, Subaru tried a fast spool turbo coupled with a power band turbo. Many people think the small performance gain does not justify the cost and complexity.

i had abit of an enquiry myself awhile ago but when with cosworth instead.
The current cost of an crawford R4 is 13999usd. Build time can be anywhere from 8-10 weeks, not including shipping.

didnt think a 2.5L bottom end would mate up to 2L heads due to the bore sizes being different?

i have been told that you have to use your original EJ207 heads if u go from an EJ20 to an EJ25... standard procedure apparently.
