hi guys got a problem.

i have a 99 wrx with a power fc and a 300zx afm on it. I have taken them both off and i now have a rs 1992 liberty AFM of my mates car on my 99 rex. With the power fc connected the car will start and run fine, but when i take it off and put the stnd comp on it it wount kick over at all. Is this because of the afm?????? do i need a 99 afm to make it start.

Old RS Liberty AFMs are absolutely incompatible with the OEM my99 ECU.

You need a my99/00 OEM AFM to run the car with the OEM ECU.

Power FCs can be setup and tuned to run almost any type of AFM, but you simply cant do that with the OEM ECU.
