I also think you could have a 10 second rex for less than what gareth invested if you do your homework, but like I said, why waste the money unless you have plenty more tucked away.

Ive got eleventybillion dollars to do up my Mclaren F1. I want to be able to beat Michael Schumacher next month when I race his F1 car on my private 10km track in Italy. What mods should I get? I was thinking a 1000hp shot of NAWWWSS! Two of them! Big Trust T88 turbo. Two of them too. Will the stock ECU handle this okay? Or am I going to need a big CF T-tail spoiler to handle all this extra power? Do you think I could enter the Gumball 3000 next year? Also. I wanna keep this all street legal. My mum still needs to go shopping in this car.

Sorry Craven... I couldn't resist.

Mint secondhand Hyabusa + turbo conversion = approx $25k and use the change as a deposit on a house.

House + car + bike = happiness!!!

Nah, lifes not always about making money and taking the sensible option

You only live once, if you can afford to mod a car and it brings you enjoyment, do so (just make sure its insured to an agreed value). That said, it'd be stupid to get a loan for mods or spend 100K on any car unless you can still live comfortable and arent eating noodles for the next three years!

I learnt the hard way, my best mate worked his ass off and saved almost every dollar he could. He was killed as 21..

Craven, if you really want a car that will decimate all, your better off ditching the wrx. Dont get me wrong, wrx's are good cars BUT there are other cars that could get the results with less money IMHO. Supras, GTR's etc.

If you just wanna go fast buy a supra, do all the usual mods with a big fuck off T88 and the mighty 2J will do the rest. Has been proven many times over the years! You'll only run 12's tho

Or you could see if the [DAMN] Supra is still for sale for 50K or so. Car worthy of any autosalon, lambo orange paintwork, body kit, built 2J, Trust TDO6 20g twin turbo Kit etc

Ran 10.9 with 380rwkw and has now runs a tad under 600rwkw or 430rwkw for a street tune..

If you wanna go fast and stand out, i think thats your beast
