probably okay for now.

Still, I strongly recommend you at least replace the spark plugs and do the checks.

Also check your exhaust system. A backfire big enough to set off your knock sensor may have blown an exhaust gasket.

i cheked if it was the exhuast and everything was fyn there...i think you got it right about the spark plugs cause i dont remember changing them for a long time or with the previous owner (my cousin)...so it could be fould..

Especially if running rich.
