hey guys

just a query after some heat resistant tape, something silicone based would be ideal...as it i to repair the silicone induction pipe...

not really worried about looks, just after something that would hold under high temps of the engine bay and would provide and air tight fix...the size of the repair is quite substantial..

is there anything of this kind on the market thanks!!

I wouldn't be doing that mate. If the tape loses its seal under boost, you'll cop a load of un-metered air and lean out the engine. BAM! Not good.

Silicone intake pipes aren't that expensive anymore, so it would be best to simply replace it rather than risk it to save a few hundred.
