Just get the Green and run 20-22psi through it on the 2.5.

I don't understand why everyone is so scared. There are a few 2.5s running around now, running at least 20psi, none of which have blown up.

If its tuned correctly then it shouldn't be an issue IMO.

Having said that, there is seriously no point in buying a bigger hair dryer, if your only going to run the turbo outside of its efficiency range.

My 2c anyway.

i thought i better add that i run my fp green on my 2dr 2.0l. i run it at 1.67bar and i have upgraded the injectors and fuel pump. i also run the aitronics ecu. i have to say its a little laggy if i dont launch hard but man its just seems to keep spooling. a very awesome turbo IMO. well worth the money.

and definitely get sean from ASG to tune it.

Yeah I got the 20G because the FP is at least 500rpm laggier...with my mid spec camshafts (not too conservative or aggressive), it brings the 20G on very very hard...exactly what I was chasing. Similar response to my VF22 with the potential for about 100ps more at the wheels than the VF22 (on higher boost of course), so there is very few trade offs.

Was about 1000 cheaper than the Green at the time also, which I was very happy about

An FP 20G on a 2.5 will behave like a TD05-20G on a 2 litre.

FP Green is a goer on your 2.5, but you'll have to run 20psi and make sure you get the 8cm rear.
