Default reset ecu? after cai install

hi all, i'm pretty damn sure this question has been asked before but here goes.

i just installed a K&N CAI. and was reading through various forums were some ppl have said that an ecu reset was need after intalling one, is this the case? and if so how do i go about doing it ?

i did try to search it but the words "installing" and "cai" are rather popular...

thanks.

Greg.

you wont need a reset, but moreso a tune.

a CAI affects the scaling of the air flow meter.

although if you utilise a MAP/BAP vs air temp ECU, then a CAI wont affect your scaling, but will affect the loading.
