oh its possible. with money anything is possible.

but if hes being stingy with a $5k sc kit. then i wouldnt bother.
How much would he be looking at after EVERYTHING, driving on road?

Hes only being 'stingy' with the 5k supercharger because its not worth it for the gains. Im pritty sure he will spend however much itll cost to put in an EJ20XT if its not an overzealous amount like 50k+

i would go out on a limb and say it would be an overzealous amount like $50k.
If he has $49k to blow on a motor. Why not turbo it? $49k is comes out with a built motor + turbo.

Geez, tell your mate for 50k he'll get himself a fully built K24A with a big turbo setup, plus change left for suspension and some neons if he wants!

I prolly should be asking what has to be done on the honda forums, but just seeing if any people here know what would have to be done, what parts would have to be changed, and how hard it will be to do.

ANY help/advice towards making this happen will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

You couldn't think of a more difficult conversion if you tried. Honda engines turn the opposite way to just about every other engine known to man, so you cannot connect anything other than a Honda onto their gearbox unless you want 5 or 6 reverse gears Secondly, the Subaru engine is designed to be mounted longitudinally, hence it reuires a transmission tunnel behind the engine, most FWD cars are not equipped with a tunnel bigger than the exhaust that runs down it. Thirdly, there is insufficient room in front of a Hondas front axle centre line to fit a Subaru engine and still fit in a radiator/intercooler etc. Starting to get the picture now? $50K is a realistic figure to re-engineer an entire car into something unregisterable.

those arnt that hard.

those guys also put a 2j in a fd.

s2k is rwd, and has a vertical engine config, similar to the 2j.

ej20 is possibily one of the hardest.

.
Yes.....but does it now have 6 reverse gears?
Maybe they changed the diff too
Possibly S2000 engines turn the correct (clockwise) direction, unlike all other Hondas.
