Default Tight bov spring?

Hey,

After i got my car tuned with the stock bov and boost set at 20 pounds, i decided to put my R2D2 back on for a bit to see how loud it will be higher boost.

When i got it on, all i get is flutter in every gear at around 5-8 psi, even 10+ psi i get a little bit of flutter THEN the pppsssshhhh. Full boost even has the slightest bit of flutter before the venting sound. It doesnt sound too good with the little flutter before the vent because im scared of it destroying my intake fan when boost is high.

My first thoughts were that the spring is too tight, but the bov was perfectly functional when i had the car stock and full boost was only around 13 psi then ..

What else could cause this?

-Nick
