Default lowering probs with rx L series

I know it's not a WRX but I thought someone on here may know what the prob is.
I've just lowered my rx L series and am now experiencing severe clunking when taking off and accelerating from the rear drive shafts, apparently it is now running a sti r180 diff 3.9 ratio.

my theory is that the shafts arent long enough and therefore are'nt engaging properly.
I've been told on another forum that possible the shafts are to long causing them to hit and cause the exsesive clunking

this problem has only happened sinse I have lowered it and the drive shafts are now on an angle.

anyhelp would be much appreciated, or if anyone knows of a workshop that may have an idea would be good to.
or if anyone would like to come over and have a look for themselves I would be more than happy to pay for your fuel and buy you a six pack, as this prob is driving me crazy.
