Default External wastegate installs

Hi all,

Another question before oink goes into the workshop..

I've decided to go for an external gate with the TD06 since it's in the workshop.

Decided on the Tial, but I'm not keen on paying the $800 that the workshops are asking to supply the WG. Hoping that the TD06 will be running somewhere around 19-20psi (~1.4bar).

First question: Will a 38mm wastegate flow enough for this? Is it necessary to go a 41mm or a 44mm instead?

Second question: Springs. Since the target is about 1.4 bar, will the spring need to be a 1.4bar spring? The workshops who quoted offered an 0.7bar and a 1.0bar spring.

This is what I came across on ebay (Seems legit also):

38mm:

41mm:

Obviously I want the right WG for the job (a little more than what is necessary maybe), however, I don't want overkill.

Thanks in advance once again

Luca.
