If you've got money to fork out on a new turbo/tune/etc, then dont skimp on messing around. Buy yourself an external gate and get it fabricated and fitted properly.

There's a few rexes getting ruined nowadays due to the owners trying to cut corners. It'll cause you more trouble than its worth. Internal gates are designed to stay internal, and vice versa for external gates.

Do it properly or dont do it at all. Again though, each to their own.

makes sense. Its prolly not worth it for just the sound, might even get sick of it like a venting bov except i cant just simply bolt the stock back on ..

should prob stay away from this idea! haha
prolly still gonna go with the twin dump design but.

Cheers guys, appreciate it

Nah. Ignore those logical bastards with their damn common sense and logic.

Just do it to a crappy second hand one. Attack it with a hacksaw and a welder. If you go ahead with this. I'll come over and help and supply the beer. we can make a day of it.

Who knows. It might just become the next ricer's fad. Might be able to make some money selling internal wastegate screamer dump pipes to ricers with too much money.

Ill supply the hacksaw if you supply your dump pipe?

i dont see the point of wasting 500 or so in labour just to have a screamer pipe.

You might as well spend 1gs and get ur internal wastegate spot welded on the arm so u can easy convert it back to internal use.. Buy a cheap arse wastegate (ask simon hell know where to go) and get it fabbed up to ur upipe..

I think tenagh did simons setup, so ask them for a price. That would be the better option then messing around with the dump pipe as ur wasting alot of coin for labour..
