In regards to r-comps, can someone please clarify the difference between:

RE55
RE55 SR2's

Pros/cons? Experiences? Will the hard compound do the job?

RE55 is the type of tyre, SR2 is the compound (hard).

Anyone know who to go see about Kumho r-comps?

That makes a whole lot of sense now, thanks mate.

How much sticker will a hard compound r-comp be vs. a descent road tyre (ie. K107)?

SR2's are the "updated" version of the original SR's and as Freddo said the "SR" refers to the compound. So SR2's are what you want in RE55's

Excellent, thanks Steve.

Jaron: 225/45/17 - $485 each fitted and balanced. You'll find them cheaper elsewhere but wanted to give the work to a mate.
