Budget for your consumables bloke. Like brake pads, rotors, clutchs, tyres, regular servicing. These are the things you need to keep it on the road, safe and humming along. When you got the cash for further mods, you got options like improved suspension and brakes, bigger turbo's, injector's, intercooler's the list really is endless. All depends what you want from it and how much cash you are willing to throw at it. There are a whole bunch of people on here who have modified every aspect of these cars and most of the results, trials and errors have been discussed before. Have a look around using the search tab and you'll find all the info you need, just gotta weed out the dribble and take what's tried and true
EDIT: ImpezaGT is right, driver training never goes astray. Gotta know yours and cars limits

i think i will get the verso done and then hit the suspension, my car is running a bit rough at the moment and i have changed the boost controller quite a few times so i think its my best bet

Maybe think about changing your y pipe on your i/c to a silicon one before the tune .. The silicon y pipe should make boost a bit smoother and at the same time replacing that crappy plastic factory y pipe. If you do this, try to get it done before the tune. Tuning your car which will most prolly jack up the boost may stress the plastic y pipe and maybe make it crack over time ..

If your interested, they sell the y pipe here:

http://www.prospeedracing.com.au/prod535.htm

The turbo xs ones are pritty cheap compared to others like perrin and samco but they are all pritty much the same.
You could put it on yourself before the tune or get the boys at ASG to put it on for you at the time of the tune. Doesnt take long and isnt a hard job so ide say it wont cost much for labour. Some people might think the silicon y pipe isnt worth it but i reckon its a good bang for your buck.

Just my 2c

Itll prolly be worth while to add the silicon turbo inlet aswell to go with your cold air. They sell it on the same site as the y pipe, but its quite pricy and is a hard job to get it on so labour is $$$.

Try to get all the bolt on things you want on before the tune ..
Just thought you may want to consider the turbo inlet also.

and what is a safe boost to run with my stock turbo, engine and intercooler, as ive read tens upon tens of posts with people saying there engines have blown, scares me a little
Send me your tax cheque...will help me pay my bill to Mr Costello

Seriously though...have you checked whether the car has already had an ECU re-tune (Verso or ECUTek)...the fuel pump upgrade is the giveaway...

Maybe the previous owner got the fuel pump for insurance with the boost controller or was going to get a tune but bailed?
Does your car happen to be silver? Because I was once talking to this 'chosen few' silver bugeye with similar mods. He upgraded hes pump with no tune ..
