Benefits of 2.5" diff back
Just a heads-up for anyone curious...
http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index...howtopic=77019 This topic has been discussed occasionally, makes for a more interesting read now that there are some dyno plots to look at (still waiting for that torque graph though!). Remebering though that this is just one person's experience. Cheers - Nik |

I wanted to see the torque graph, but sadly it has not been posted

Take II....Reducing from 3" to 2.5" at the diff increases the velocity and improves torque. Needs a retune to exploit but good gains can be found for setups under 220-230kwatw.
Take I Makes perfect sense. Theory is that as the gas cools it contracts, from diff back this causes the gas to slow. Reducing from 3" to 2.5" at the diff keeps the velocity and improves torque. Torque is what wins races, not dyno shoot outs. Michael South knows his stuff.
