Water spray causing knock????
Hey guys.
I have the Link knock sensor in my '97 GC8, and have two(2) seperate switches for my cooler spray. The first switch is located near my hand brake, and automatically controls the water to spray after a certain rpm. The second switch is where the gc8 fog light switch usually is, and with this, I can control the spray manually. Now, on auto its all good and does its job, but when I use the manual switch, my knock sensor lights up. Sometimes it stays in the safe zone, and sometimes, if I press it alot, it goes into knock Would anyone know what the hecky?

Cooler intake temps usually result in less knock. So you may have a electrical short. Perhaps due to water getting somewhere its not supposed to be.
