Default Rebuilding turbo in Perth

Hey,

Searched first but couldnt find anything on it.
Who in Perth does turbo rebuilding or turbo internal work? Im thinking of putting a 20G compressor in my TD05-16G and was wondering who could do it for me if i get the wheel.
Was reading on the GT-pumps site on how they change over wheels etc and it doesnt seem like any old mechanincal workshop has the machinery to do it.

Any recommendations? Prefer not to have it out the car for too long and have to send it away ..

Any help would be great.
Cheers

-Nick

Had my old TD05H-16G rebuilt by Turbotech earlier this year, was done within a couple of days and they did an excellent job.

They are located on Great Eastern Highway.

sweet, ill give turbotech and per4manz a call.
Not after a full turbo rebuild, just to change the compressor wheel on my 16G to a 20G and get it balanced/machined so its all good.

Cheers.

You thinking of popping a 20G in there Nick? Not too worried about the low-down torque then?

yeah gave turbotech an email today thinking it would be a simple job of pulling off the compressor housing, wacking in the 20g and balancing it. Turns out its not that simple and ALOT of other stuff needed to be done at the same time which all added up to around $800 drive away, pritty much a whole refurbished turbo .. not something i need atm.
I think ill just keep the EVO III 16G for now

And Alan, it was just an idea that sprung to my head last night, wanted more top end but after reading alot and seeing full boost @ 4k (give or take 100 rpm) at BEST for 20G's on 2.0's, i dont think ide like that for a daily driver ..

Turbotech rebuild our Td05's on the rally car and they seem to go well.

We do about 400 rally km's per round, antilag on full time... Havent had one fail in 2 and a bit rounds.

Id say they are decent
