One way to deal with a laggy car is to buy a shitter to drive around as your daily.

I'd be going for a TD06-20G at least. Wouldn't go any bigger than an AVO500 though. These have supported around 300kw at the wheels on a roller dyno.

Mind you - my definition of lag is probably a lot different.....

Lag shmag!

as tino said, when daily driving its off boost anyway...if you want more boost its an sti, drop it back a gear or two...5th gear @ about 60km/h is around 1800rpms? Drop it back to 3rd and your doing 60km/h but at about 4000rpms then floor it....hell, if it was me and some ricer wanted to go I'd let them get a length on me, drop it back to 2nd @ about 5000 and floor it...and go sailing past : P Seeya, wouldn't wanna be ya!

Exactly right Pete, power/boost/choppage is only a gear shift away.

But as Tode said, if you're looking to run ricer's off the lights in local traffic during the day. Prolly best that you don't go the td06-20g unless you want to launch it....
