The little red light that signals a door is open, on the dash cluster stays on (but fades to a lighter colour as all the doors are closed - I know they are fully closed because the car has the highjacking alarm which shuts the car off if they are open.)

Anyone had the same problem??

where is your interior light switch, mine does it when my boot light is disconnected and my interior light is turned off..

It is normal for cars fitted with a Brant alarm for the door open light in the dash cluster to have a very dull glow when all doors are closed and the car is in normal operation. It is part of the Brant setup apparently.

i would try and make sure all the door switchs are ok first before dash. just check they are getting good contact with metal on the car.

And maybe spray them with some contact cleaner.

yeh my 99 did that, just faded to a darker colour, didnt bother fiixng it when i sold it.

it will be something electrical or to do with a switch.......
