Code is apparently Pressure Sensor circuit low input. A sensor link on the manifold had come loose? Guy didn't have the specific code number to hand but sound right?

Buy and STi, should be able to get a nice 05 sti for around that price, i was looking at one with 24,xxx k's on it for 42. Gl which ever way you go, good to see you back in a wrx and not cruising round in your mx5

Yeah, all engine lights only come on for a certain amount of starts.. As said before the engine light only comes on when one of the sensors reports a fault. Cars can still drive okay some go into to fail safe mode. Only a dealer or a person with a subaru computer copy can drag up to see the true fault code. Even water on the end of an oxygen sensor can throw up an engine light

i have this porblem with my car ever since i got it, i didnt know wat it was
the engine light flashes on start up everytime!!
i have the autronic computer in mine they found it was jst an over boost light, which when u do over boost the light will stay there intuill u get codes cleared. i got mine claered and it didnt happen.... well untill next time i..... u know.....
