yeah mate thats not good news aye ....you need the gearbox/front diff ratios to be the same as the rear diff otherwise you will incounter problems like you have now!

yeah this sounds like a bit of a noob mistake.

the gearbox is the original from my car...never had issues with it...could it be the clutch??

Take it to someone that knows wrx's. It should have a 3.9 front and a 3.54 rear with 1.1:1 transfer gears. Just turning the wheels in the air won't give a true indication of drive between the front and rear.
