I think i might have a little bit of a problem, above 3000rpm in 3rd and 4th my my99 wrx starts to sputter and jump around, it also feels like its being restricted, it only happens sometimes, what do you guys think it could be
i have searched and i cant find anything that explains what it could be

any help would be appreciated

Hmmm thats what i thought, how much are they to replace?
and can you get them threw coventries ?, i just want to put a standard one in there untill i guy an autronics

You can only get them through Subaru, or places that sell new or 2nd hand Subaru parts. Coventry's don't sell them.

You were the one who wanted a Power FC and change to a Z32 AFM anyway right?? Well sounds like you've just talked yourself right into one. If it's really that bad either take it to a workshop or stop driving it before you lean out and are up for a new engine and pick up the parts you need to start making more powahhhhhhh

Hmmm sounds like a plan im kinda leaning towards an autronics now where can i get a sm4 for a good price and how much would fitting and tuning be roughly ? or can you guys recommend a work shop thatsd good with wrx's?

Done and done, Am goign to phone around and see how much an autronic will be install and tuned, but i need to put a clutch in but i guess that can wait, i dont want the engine to go bang

If your clutch is rooted they won't be able to dyno tune it properly I'd imagine. Get it all done while it's there and maybe they'll discount some labour for 1 job instead of 2. Stop being a tightass, it's Xmas!! Perfect time of the year to give yourself a pressie and start living life in the red!!
