Dont go cutting anything, it might completely lock up your car!
Best bet is to take it to subaru and get it all sorted there. Ide say they know the Brank keypads the best, well ide like to think. Either way, not having to enter a code to start the car can be achieved.

Search is your friend

There is the method of turning the Anti-Hijack system off (Highly Not Recommended)

Your Brant booklet may also tell you how.

As above,

And there is a way to turn it off completely (on my model anyway) thats what the little key on the key ring is for.

Ring subaru they will tell you how to do it (i would hope)

As Evidencee said, dont go cutting anything, I'm 90% sure you can turn it off properly. Otherwise in the mean time, straight after you turn the engine off, 1, 4 and 7 with flash in sequence. Whilst this is happening hold down the number 1 for a couple of seconds. This should give you 8 or 9 "pin free" starts and I dont think it disables anti-hijack either.

You can definitely switch them off on the Version 6 Sti coz I turned mine off.

Is in the separate manual that comes with the STis on their alarm system.

Dont go cutting any wires lol...Could cause a few minor issues!

Read your Brant book and put it to manual arming. Then you don't need to bother with that pesky number punching every time you start the car...and the added bonus is that if anybody wants to steal your car, then they can do it so much easier...win, win!!

I dont understand why people would like to turn it off.

It takes a whole 5 seconds to wack in your 4 digit pin and away you go.

Piece of mind that if some one trys to steel it they cant get to far.

If you really don't like the 2 seconds it takes to enter a code, take the whole alarm out and install a different brand.

Or get the whole alarm removed and put a 'Free to good home sticker on'.
