Default Clutch

ok, when we were at the AHG day the other w/e after i had been out and parked the car when i got back in when coming off the clutch pedal it would stick at the friction point. After a few pumps it would be sweet again, so i decided to flush the fluid through. Bad idea, after flushing the fluid i had no clutch pedal. We kept bleeding and only managed to get about 1-2 inches of pedal at the bottom.

My boss decided that the master cylinder was fucked, so i took it out and sent it away to be re-conditioned. Got it back today, bled the system again and i still have the problem. ow both my bosses are convinced that it is still the master cylinder but i just wanted to se if anyone else has had this problem.

Cheers in advance

PS, there is no air in the system

Try pumping the pedal by hand, so that on the up stroke you can pull it all the way up.

EDIT: my mates car (the dark red one) was doing the same when I took it round the track. Was fine when it had cooled down and been ok since

Haha, 200ml is stuff all Tim. though if you are getting some pedal then it is proberly working correctly, you might just still have air in there. Flush through more, watch the slave cylinder makesure it is working correctly.

I usually flush about 1.5 when doing my brakes and clutch, though most is on the brakes.

What fluid are you putting in? dot 4 or dot 4 600?
