LT-10 on Classics
I'm planning on going down the Microtech path on my 99 WRX, have many people got them, or know how well they work on them? And when I get back over to Perth next year are there many people that can tune them well? Thanks

no one really tunes microtechs over here, you have one option which isnt too fantastic, and if you choose to take this option you have an ECU no one else will touch.
A PowerFC, Link or LinkG3, Autronic or MoTeC would be much better options. Don't buy a microtech because its cheap then have to drop 5x the ecu on a new motor

Microtech's are the Eastern States special! over here we do it with more 'advanced' PnP, like jester noted above.
We are currently running one on a 99 GT foz...economy was returning 300-330km per tank (with RA gearbox at 120kmh constant) It definately needs a fresh tune. I can sell you mine if you want.... buy buy cheap cheap!!

Oh ok, I have a power fc but was told that they are pretty crap, and it just ran out of tune anyway. In most peoples opinion is this any better? I've got a z32 afm but haven't installed it yet.

Maybe I won't change plans then. Thanks for the input, too many tuners over here are single minded when it comes to what ECU to run, and it's hard to get much more than just an opinion.
