How hard are extractors to fit onto your car in a typical garage? Is this a job better left up to the mechanics, as i have a quote from them to fit it and would do it myself if it was possible.

If i did fit it and the silicone intake, would driving it to the workshop (roughly 40kms) be a unwise move?

Thanks,

Eric

EDIT: Powah option is under way. 4 Ply silicone intake coming from Great Britian for $90, boost solinoid installed with hose will cost $55 and now on the lookout for my headers.....Dont know where ill find some nice unequal length headers from......do equal length headers sound nice considering you lose the boxer sound?

Eric man,

I drove my car on the following untuned for a month while i got a booking @ ASG

TBE
Up Pipe
CAI
TMIC
Fuel Pump
Silicone Intake

And it drove without a problem .. And got a 40KW increase after the tune

You'll be fine mate .. and i reckon equal length headers sound honda spec which is gay.

Ok thats cool, but where would a good place to purchase a nice set of un-equal length headers be?

Not hard, just fiddly...you need to disconnect the turbo from the up-pipe (which should be left bolted onto the headers) and then unbolt the headers from underneath the car.

It should all come off as one piece.

MUCH easier to do with a hoist, definitely a pain in the ass without one.

Hmmm might have to park over a large pothole somewhere on Nicholson Rd in Canning Vale. Thats cool, ill try sort a hoist out but im pretty sure its gonna be hard to find one hah ;/. Thanks Joe.

How high roughly do i need to get the car up to make it relatively easy to undo my headers? Be it that i cannot get on a hoist as the ones avaliable to me are currently in use/packed with crappy scrap cars.

Thanks,

Eric
