Default Replacing the clutch

Hey Guys bear with me here and dont pull the piss I'm noob with this stuff.

I'm wanting to replace the clutch in my 99 STi previous owner put in a 9 puk brass button I'm thinking its not the greatest for my gearbox and a bit of a pain to drive. I wanna put in an organic clutch but hubby insists ceramic is the way to go.

Whats tried and true? Im basiclly wanting a smoother ride.

Exedy provide the standard clutch to subaru for original fitment. Most people go for the heavy duty version of this.

Think of the clutch as a fuse for your gearbox. It is a lot cheaper to replace clutches than gearboxes.

+1 Exedy Organic .. Uprated over standard, but not so hard you feel like you are doing a gym workout when pressing the clutch.

That price from MMS would have been fitted....

RMS does the same fitted price as MMS and charges an extra $55 for a flywheel machine if it needs it ( which 99% do). That is a h/duty, upgrade organic clutch kit.

Cheers
Ken
