Hello Every Person It would appear thet my GC8 has a minor problem

Simple problem really... the damn fuel light won't turn off >

The broken down, simplified and abridged version of events goes like so...

- Fuel tank got to the stage where the fuel light came on
- Went and stuck 10 L of fuel in the car
- Needle on the guage indicates that the car has about 1/4 of a tank... But the damn light is still on

Does any one know if this is a common fault with the GC8 and if there is a simple fix short of putting 100mph tape over the light?
