Default Rim Centering Discs

Hey all,

I fitted some 17" wheels to my Subaru Imprezza 1996 today, look great and i am very happy with them.

Only thing is that when i finished fitting them i suddenly realised i had forgotten to put one of the centering discs onto one of the rims...doh!

It's gonna be a lot of effort to find which one it is and put it on so i'm wondering if it's alright to be driving around on with one of these missing?? I'm really not sure what they actually do anyway.

Any help appreciated!!

Thanks.

If you're talking about the hub-centric rings, then its no problem driving around without them for a bit.

If the rims came with them, best to grab another one. Most wheel places will have what you need.

Call the tyre shop in my header on 9354 7855 if your south of the river and speak to Shane. It will literally take him about 5 minutes and Shane is willing to help any Perth WRX members where he can.

Ok was driving around the car today with the new rims, all good and happy..

Although later in the day i had 5 people in the car, all medium sized adults. from the back right or left i could hear constant scraping which i believe must be my wheel rubbing against something??..Since the new rims are 17" compared to the original 14", big difference.

Today i removed the rear mud flaps to see if that would help with scraping and haven't tried with multiple people but are there any other ideas? Rolling guards needed?

Simple! Only carry a maximum of 3 people or get thinner friends
