Waste of time IMHO.

Autospeed tested one a while ago. Made 139kw at the wheels, and costs 7 grand for the kit.

They are claiming 65 - 80% power gains.

Imagine those results on the 06/07 Impreza R (with the JDM n/a 2.0L that make 100 and something kw)

65-80% gain at one specific point or across the board?

Easy to make 80% more power in a s/c application at 1500 rpm but 15% more at 5000rpm.

Indeed.

Be nice to make a simultaneous application, my car could do with 85% gain at 1500 rpm... :P

u can still run high boost and acheive massive amounts of power.

for just over $1200 i helped a mate supercharge an ej22 and ran some lowish boost through it and gove over 148 kw atw...and that was in a 4x4.....and for 1...i love the fact that you have all that torque when u need it down low...good for different applications....but for 7 grand would not be worth the paper its written on when they come out with turbo, especially not worth it if its just a road car...

i'm trying to remember the figures for my charged VR6, stock i think it was about 170hp
with the vortech i think it was putting down about 260hp this was pretty low boost with no head work apart from a slightly fatter head gasket...

Plus Supercharges Sound AWSOME... expecially in a normally uncharged car....
