1mm extra thickness provides a lot more contact area on the helical gears (not a lot, but still more).

I'm guessing with the Albins they use stonger materials and different materials to increase the strength of the tips (ie heat treatments or cryro) compared to a stock gearset.

If you have read about others using them in their cars (even rally cars) without breaking, then id be pretty confident in them.

Do you plan on doin constant hard launches and super hard gear changes?

Yeah i do plan on doin a bit of that, still undecided on albins or ppg's
