unplug leads from the coil, if you get spark, your cam/crank is OK.

Yea ive checked all the fuses nothing one of the 1st thoughts too.

Make sure it isnt just really flooded too. Check spark, fuel.

Yeh if you connected the battery terminals back to front even for a second while jump starting it the ECU or fuse (if you're luck) could be dead.

well it cranks but wont start.....same thing happened to me but with a diffferent car, my guess is fuel pump ? since your cousin got semi-fried i would probably rule out ignition probs
