Ok cool....yeah just asking because i've got 06 STi suspension in my XT and find it quite firm...the missus also whinges a bit that its too stiff. A mate did say a set of aftermarket "same height" progressive springs would improve the ride and not be so harsh. Got bubs number 2 on the way so just thinking of ways to soften the ride a little without having to go back to the stock setup which was way too high.

No they dont its easy, aslong as you have the right tools. However wheel alignment is something I clearly can't do DIY without the heads and lasers :S However im a qualified wheel aligner and tyrefitter so if you have anyway to read measuements I can do wheelalignments in like 15mins. Well I used to be able to when i did them all day everyday, maybe a bit longer to get it spot on these days.

seeings as where talking bout springs, a mate has a WRP10. if he were to get a set of second hand springs eg. Kings super low, they would have to come off an STi????

a WRP10 is just a normal wrx with some fruit. some of that fruit includes lower springs from the factory

What's in them...

The same suspension as every other 05 WRX. Albeit WRP10 gets the STi Pink lowering springs for WRX.

Yep, I'm sure someone with a WRP10 can answer the question
"Other STI-style additions to the car include: a carbon fibre strut brace and WRX suspension lowering kit, with stiffer springs and 15mm-lower ride height."
From http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/Ar...leID=9001&vf=1
From this I'm betting Kato is right
