Default Lowering Springs RAISED My Car ?!?!

Hey guys,
Sourced a set of Whiteline Flatout springs for my MY05 STi from one of the vendors located in Aust.
Got them fitted yesterday, and they raised my car!
Shop measurements:
BEFORE HTG: FRONT 375 REAR 360
AFTER HGT: FRONT 380 REAR 370
The shop guys said they should settle 5-10mm max, worst case back to stock height.
The vendor is saying it might take a month for them to settle. They were meant to lower the car 30-40mm. Can I really expect a 40-50mm drop?
Any similar experiences? Suggestions? Whiteline springs?
The vendor is saying they were right springs for my car but will look into it.

i'd say they sent out the wrong springs and the installer didn't check before installing them. Im sure you'll get them sorted out - unless the 'before' ride was already on supe SUPER lows or something...

maybe your springs were fucked / chopped / already super lows or something. have you owned the car since new?

I have whiteline flatout springs in my wagon and they did drop the car well below stock ride height, it did take quite a while to settle properly. I was expecting a much bigger drop also so emailed Whiteline and they told me they dont make springs hell low as it ruins the geometry (which is true)

Ive got controls and they have barely lowered the car. So make sure as mentioned earlier you do have the flatouts and not the controls.

his car was stock and bought it from a dealer. definately wasn't already lowered. he ordered flatout springs not controls and i'm assuming he got them since the vendor confirmed he received the right springs.. there had to be a mix-up somewhere...

Quick answers:
Car had stock springs before.
The box was clearly labelled with Whiteline Flatouts from fabric and their decals etc.
Only thing I can think off they sent flatouts for a different model wrx. But still shouldnt have raised the car. Maybe they had wrongs springs in box? But looked all from factory.
I'm waiting for reply from vendor...

Box still sealed ? Looking like a case of wrong springs in box.
