Default MY94 Clutch is dieing!!!!

The "heavy duty"(apparently.. was installed by previous owner) clutch in my 94 wagon has just started slipping at the top of 3rd, 4th and 5th!... What sort of clutch would suit a street/weekend MC setup... I dont want anything too hardcore as it is driven on the street a lot!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers all

Jimmy

I'm a big fan of the excedy sports tuff range of clutches. Comes as a complete kit (Thrust bearing, clutch plate and pressure plate) and once bedded in, grips pretty well. I think it's a really progressive clutch even though I use it with a lightened flywheel and definately not heavy under foot. Great compromise for a street car..

hi ya ive got a accented bronze plate in mine with a increased clamp p/plate and it drives the same as my old heavyduty organic clutch. only thing dont slip these types of clutch as they will wear very quickly and hammer you flywheel and p/plate. got mine through steve at mms if your interested say sav from geraldton sent ya and he "might" do it cheaper but yer good clutch

I just put a exedy clutch in my car, it drives very smooth indeed. Very happy with it. I have had all sorts of other clutches, but this is by far the best all round package.
The other clutch was fine until it had 100hp shot of nos...didnt like it when i used it.
I would consider buying a daiken/exedy clutch if i were you.
good luck
