Default Steering knuckle/up-pipe sensor clearance

Hey,

I just got some 4>2>1 X-force equal length headers fitted to my car but there seems to be a clearance issue between a steering knuckle and the exhaust sensor in the up-pipe. When i steer the car left and right, the steering knuckle rotates and rubs against the side of the sensor sticking out of the up-pipe.
The rubbing is pritty bad to the point that sometimes my steering wheel doesnt correct itself (restraighten itself) when i come out of a turn, i can feel engine vibration on the steering wheel and you can feel the rubbing when you turn the wheel in a 'thud thud' feeling. Its not the safest thing driving around like this so i wanna try to get it fixed ASAP.

Any ideas on how i could get around this problem?
Shorter sensor? (if there is such a thing)
Bending the sensor?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

-Nick

My up pipe has two entries for the sensor 1 on the steering side and one on the othere side, then use a blank in the thread near the steering column

This would require drilling right, and therefore needing to take off the manifold again? Is there an easier way to relocate the sensor as its not the easiest or cheapest job to put the headers off/on.

I had another look at the up-pipe section and there seems to be another hole for a sensor .. thought there was only one. The second hole seems to be a smaller size though so ill just get a smaller sensor to fit that hole.

Tino,
The headers are one piece, replacing the factory exhaust manifold and up pipe.
Your setup would have needed a custom fabricated pipe that bolted to the flange that would have bolted straight to the turbo as your turbo was angle mounted.
