I couldn't really see myself getting tires from anywhere else now days. Even with the postage costs, tires are still cheaper than anywhere local. I'm a supporter for sure

when calculating import duty, do you have to include what you pay for freight? For example, the goods might cost $800.. but the Shipping $300. Would you have to pay the extra tax because you paid over $1000? or is the tax calculated on the value of the goods?

I fired off a quote about 4-6 weeks ago and got told between $300 & 350 for shipping 4 tyres over to Osborne Park.

Still isn't a bad amount when you are saving a fair bit of dosh

As far as Tech9 tyres go I would stay well away from them. My girlfriend was dealing with them recently in regards to some street/track tyres. Firstly they ordered and fitted the wrong tyres, then they told her that they couldnt get the original tyres that she requested and were supposedly ordered. When it came to her asking for and being given her deposit back thet mucked her around for ages before being extremely rude. She requested her refund in cash which she had originally paid them and they refused to give her the cash refund. She was told to take the refund in the form of a cheque or leave it and leave the shop without it, they then turned around and just walked away and left her standing there on her own. The whole experience lasted for about 2.5 hours and there was no apology or anything. They are a bunch of rude arrogant PR%*KS
