Is this still the average price. Ringing around for some 245/40/18s, and looking at $365 fitted from Bridgestone Bentley.

She was told to take the refund in the form of a cheque or leave it and leave the shop without it, they then turned around and just walked away and left her standing there on her own. The whole experience lasted for about 2.5 hours and there was no apology or anything. They are a bunch of rude arrogant PR%*KS

I found tech9 to be really quick for me. overall a weeks turnaround for order and fit, and took 30mins to go in there wait for them to do the change over and drive away.
My bf also goes there and on the day gets the changeover done on his tyres. but then again sometimes you get their bad days.

3.5 month wait for a set of wheels when told they would be 2 weeks.

Wheels World in Ozzie Park matched the price of the big Eastern States mobs when I wanted a set of Yokohama full racing slicks, and had them over here within 2 days. Very professional to deal with.

Avanti Tyres in Rockingham have just moved to new premises behind Supercheap. Got a set of used semi slicks fitted up on my track rims there yesterday for $75 and always use them for tyres on the wife's car.

Fellas, I'm up for new tires for the Betty and have been looking at Yoko C-Drive/S-Drive and Michelin Pilot Sport 3. John @ Wheels World said the C-Drive should suffice on my car since it's stock and not tracked or driven all that hard. He said the S-Drives and Advans that are currently on there are overpriced and not that much better than C-Drives. He likes the Michelin, but said they may be overkill for my car.

I had a brief look at Tire Rack the other day, but it raised a question... are you getting recently manufactured tires? ie. 2010/2011 or are some of them a few years old?

Firstly I was told that my deposit won't be refunded and they were wanting to charge a $500 restocking fee. This was a result of the product not being delivered within the promised time frame (which was the reason for ordering the wheels in the first place)..

We sorted out a deal in the end (considering my car is on the website and at the time cousins car was on their main banner).

Still shouldn't have made promises they couldn't honour/deliver.

There's more too it - thats the short version. But my 2c none-the-less.
