Default FMIC mounts

This to me seems a very stupid question but I have to ask it.

I have discovered that my FMIC has no mounts or any kind of support under it holding it in place, to me this seems some what insane coz as far as I can tell the only thing holding it up is the intercooler piping.

Is this common? I just assumed you needed a mount under it? and if I dont need a mount under it can someone please explain to me what I'm doing wrong when re-attaching the intercooler pipes coz they dont really wanna hold it up anymore.

Needless to say I'm chasing a mount for my FMIC if anyone can point me toward where I can get one.

Your probabally best going to see a sheet metal worker or fabricator and see what they can do for you.

Hybrid have mounts, it could be an imitation Hybrid, check the core, it should have "hybrid" sign sticking out of it.

OK I found the mounts. they just aren't attached to the car! very clever. I dont know much but fark me dead this seems like a dumb and lazy thing to do. Yet another half assed.... grrr.

Guys could someone please post up some pics of their FM (Hybrid if u have it) from underneath just so I can see what its ment to look like properly mounted ... how it sits etc I'd really appreciate it. As far as I can tell I need to have it sit just a little higher than it is now.

Cheers fellas
