Default Engine cutting out?

hey guys just wanting some help with my My00 Wrx.

Well this has been a little on going problem for about the last 4 months in which its happened to me about 5 or 6 times.

i will be driving along and then i will go to accelerate and the pedal is dead. similiar problem to "clubspec202" below. then when i stop at a red light it will have lumpy idle and stall. i let the car sit for 5 minutes then start it up again and it runs fine. then days on after this the car dosnt miss a beat. its completly random.

Ive taken the car to get looked at and one error code was the throttle control sensor. the code got deleted and i waited for it to happen again. after it happened again i took it in to get looked at and there was no error code. so that ruled out the throttle control sensor. Looking on the laptop when plugged in, the car is mechanically 100% fine so im just trying to establish the problem. thought maybe injectors or fuel pump were playing up but both a under 5000km new. it has been suggested to me that the alarm is playing up.

Any help much appreciated.
Cheers

Really got no idea, but ive heard of similar probs you describe being due to a faulty / on its way out, O2 sensor ??

dno if it will at all help, but might as well throw it out there

02 sensors are not that harsh. I believe a cut of fuel (considering its a new fuel pump) is your brant. Id get your brant looked at first.

Are you running a pod? And has it occurred in wet weather mainly?
