Question No more bouncing for me please!

I no longer wish to bounch of the rev limiter, and would like to invest in a shift light!!!

What are my options???

I dont want another tacho just the shift light I have 3x defi gauges with the controller, can I just have a shift light? how will it read the revs?? and can I adjust the set point???

cheers!

Get a STi Cluster One on Rexnet for $500, has one built in.

I know the feeling though, when you're on full noise taking your eyes of the road for a split second could result in disaster.

Brilliant little thing, sits on top of the steering column and isnt that noticable but is there in your periphery when you need it, get it to be made switchable so it doesnt get too annoying

so just shift earlier? Its pretty easy to do. Its really only nailing it in 1st when you come close to hitting the limiter..

a td04 would be no where near the rev-limit before it drops out of power.

unless you have a monster fmic and a rev-limit set at 6k ?

Can't you set up a shift light through your defi controller? Have a look, I think it's possible but I'm not sure if you need a Defi tacho to go with it also.

On second thoughts, you probably do need the tacho.
