thats more to do with how wide the angle on your lens is. I'd also recommend getting a more solid mount if your looking at track work, sometimes they don't like the suction mounts. Cable tie to your head rest or mount between the rear windows etc something like that. That said, if you can get away with a suction cup you can get some cheap ones which will take the paint off before they fall off

Get a few cameras, one for the dash, one for the screen, one of your back tire and other boring viewpoints.
That way you can make some ghost rider copy videos.
