Leave it as is - hook up a Spec C water spray/tank & feed it another 0.1-0.2bar.

Don't go FMIC!!

300hp/420nm with a TMIC sounds unreal.

Does a lighten flywheel give more torque? If it does, maybe go one of them if you dont mind the noise while not under load.

Im thinking a good waterspray unit, how are the spec C better than stock sti other than bigger water tank?

Always a fan of more boost too!

Light flywheel, forgot to mention that, have a JUN one in.

Im just wondering, if you just go a bigger turbo and run it really efficiently (read 1.2bar)...you may get the power/tqe but will sacrifice some response.

I know joe runs the TD06 20G, so does the whore...Both 2l and getting above 350...both FMIC too....

you want top end or you want response, and where do you use the power band more often.

When I want power Im generally reving it out and changing quick, or have dropped back a gear or two.

Current power band is from 3500 to about 6000. Its pretty linear. Im happy to move that to 4000 - 7500.

Generally if I'm crusing round at less than 4000rpms Im doing just that, crusing and not fussed if when I floor it nothing happens unless I down shift or wait till 4-4500rpms.

Eh lag schmag. If you dont want lag, dont go under the rpm required to make boost, and just redline sidestep launches! 3037 ftw!

Dont do it!! i went from fp green or pf whichever and a frontmount with 1.6 bar and 330hp atw to top mount, vf34 and its tonnes better, but I like cornering and not needing 50kms in 2nd to get boost... ya loose a lil top end but car is much nicer and alot more fun to drive... if your going to change it all ide suggest twin scroll...
