Default Bov issues..

Bov has been on car for a few weeks (gfb stealth fx) without any problems, car has been versoed etc.

Recently the bov leaks or something along those lines when hitting full boost...its as if the bov is venting atmo but theres a loss of power. After this the pipe thats attached to bov (unsure what pipe it is, smaller pipe that sucks in air) comes loose and the car starts fluttering like it was without a bov...but the power is back on full boost.

Putting stock bov is not an option.

Will go see nick if i dont get any answers here..

Cheers.

The smaller pipe is the vacuum hose - if it's coming off under any circumstances you have to use a hose clip to fix it to the bov. When it comes off, your engine will suck in air through the open BOV (bypassing the AFM) and the engine will begin to stall etc.

You may have to adjust your spring tension as follows:

Are you saying that with the vacuum hose disconnected, the car runs at full power under boost and flutters etc at low revs?

No worries mate. It is a bit strange that it's happening now.

Let us know how you go anyway.
